Who We Are
ODPI is your trusted property inspector in Southern Oklahoma. With licenses and certifications for new construction code inspections, commercial property inspections, and specialty home inspections, specialize in being the one-stop shop for any property inspection you may need.

What We Offer
Our services include new construction code inspections, commercial property inspections, and specialty home inspections. We provide detailed reports according to your needs. Each inspection and report is customized depending on the scope of the project. Call, text, or email to discuss in more detail so we can create a plan that works for you.
New Construction Inspections
Inspections for each phase and a final inspection. Some FHA loans may require this in certain jurisdictions. We can complete the HUD Compliance Inspection Report.
Commercial Property Inspections
Multi-unit townhomes, apartments, retail space, offices, warehouses, or any other type of commercial property.
Air Quality Tests
We are certified indoor air quality consultants able to do mold and air quality tests.
Custom Inspections
We are also licensed and certified to conduct aerial / drone photography, we can also do Phase I environmental inspections, and lots more. Reach out to discuss your needs.
About OPDI
We founded Shepard Home Inspections in 2019 and have seen wonderful growth since then. We continue to perform top-notch home inspections through Shepard Home Inspections, and in the meantime we have continued learning and gaining certifications. We are happy to launch this new company, Open Door Property Inspections, to focus on specialty inspections. We are qualified to do code inspections (IRC 2021), HUD compliance inspections, commercial property inspections, mold & air quality reports, Phase I environmental site assessments, and drone photography.

International Code Council
As a residential building inspector, I am qualified to sign off on HUD compliance inspections, perform code inspections on new construction, and identify need for correction.

Certified Commercial Inspector
Currently I am the only certified commercial inspector in Southern Oklahoma through the CCPIA. This qualifies me to inspection retail, office, warehouse, apartments, hotels, and multi-home units such as townhomes, and any other commercial property.

Currently I am the only consultant in Southern Oklahoma that is certified to test for mold through the IAC2. I partner with a lab to process air and surface samples.

As a certified professional home inspector, I conduct standard home inspections through Shepard Home Inspections.
Remote Pilot 4672774
Federal Aviation Administration
Commonly called Part 107, the remote pilot license allows me to fly unmanned aircraft for photography. I can use this to look at tall structures where a ladder may not reach, to look at the overall layout of a property, or to get aerial photos of specific areas.
